Epsilon Chapter

University of Georgia

Established on January 26, 2007 five women came together to establish Sigma Sigma Rho at the University of Georgia. At the University of Georgia, our sisters take pride in being the first South Asian Interest Sorority on campus. On June 15, 2010 the National Executive Board of Sigma Sigma Rho officially recognized University of Georgia Colony as Epsilon Chapter. Sigma Sigma Rho was established to foster the ideals of Sisterhood, Society, and Remembrance amongst its members. In the Fall of 2013, Epsilon Chapter was highlighted in The Red & Black in an article titled “Alphabet Soup: Sigma SigmaRho Comes Together to Break Stereotypes” which highlighted our organizations efforts to break racial and gender stereotypes. Epsilon Chapter continues to uphold our principles of Sisterhood, Society, and Remembrance while developing leaders from ladies at the University of Georgia and as professionals in their lives upon graduation.
